Dua Lipa makes acting debut

Dua Lipa is making her acting debut in Greta Gerwig's upcoming fantasy comedy film "Barbie." The film stars Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken. Lipa has been cast as Mermaid Barbie, and she has recorded original music for the film.

"I'm so excited to be a part of this amazing film," Lipa said in a statement. "Greta Gerwig is a visionary director, and I'm so grateful to be able to work with her and this incredible cast."

The film also stars Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Helen Mirren, Issa Rae, Simu Liu, and Kate McKinnon. "Barbie" is set to hit theaters on July 21, 2023.
